I'm sorry that my postings have been so wussy in the past few weeks... weddings, self-promotion, book reviews! Well NO MORE! (At least not for today). I'm pleased as punch to be putting up a real MAN POST here on Extreme Craft. WFMU's Beware of the Blog just posted one of my favorite sound files of all time. I think that just about any of us who enjoy making things can relate to this MP3 clip. Sometimes, when you're making things, not everything works out the way it should. Some of us cope with it by CURSING LIKE @*&%# SAILORS. I try not to curse at people, but I reserve my ire for misbehaving craft and fix-it projects. The father in this MP3 is trying to restore an antique piano, without much success. This clip was secretly recorded by his young son. Sit back, say EARMUFFS to the kiddies, and enjoy this lovely piece of Kraft Katharsis.

"Orientation" - New Work From China
- This body of work was created during a Summer 2010 residency at the Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen, China. These porcelain vessels explore traditional Chinese iconography as refracted through a decidedly Western point of view.
