The Model and the Damage Done

Petey "Smellybug" Konig is a 3D art director for Massive Black, an animation/3D/design studio that works with clients in the film and advertising business.  While I was poking around online, looking for information about vinyl toys, I found this amazing tutorial that Konig created for conceptart.org, which is an outgrowth of the studio.  The tutorial walks you through the creation of an elaborately painted sculpey model, showing you the building of the armature, blending of the sculpey, baking, and all of the steps involved in painting.  This is a rare opportunity to see a stone cold pro lay out his process for you.  Dial up the tutorial, and find out how you could be putting your pasta maker to better use.
