Isn't life awesome? Who could ever be a misanthrope when they know people like Kathy King? I've written about Kathy's ceramic art before, but who knew that she was a pancake artist as well? For a recent showing of friend Katy's favorite movie, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (a COSTUMED showing, mind you), Kathy and Katy whipped up these extraordinary Burt-N-Dolly pancakes. Kathy King... another thing I'll miss about living in Georgia.

Dude, I wish the Flying Biscuit would make their peach compote pancakes to look like Dolly Parton.... maybe that would keep my boyfriend out of Silicon Valley and back in Atlanta here with me.
