I Can Has Can Hat?
Horror of Horrors! One of the nastiest things bloggers have to deal with is the disappearance of past links. My eternal thanks go out to Amy for letting me know about the disappearance of the Beer Can Hat Pattern Link that I posted a couple of years back. Thanks to the miracles of technology, I was able to go back into a cached version of the (now closed) Crochet Cache website and retrieve said pattern. Can you believe that my original post showed up on the first page of google links for "BEER CAN HAT"? That's true fame right there, ladies and gentlemen. I have reached the pinnacle of Craft.
By the way...if there's a dead site that you'd like to revisit, head on over to archive.org, where you can use their (cleverly named) "wayback machine" to search for archived versions of old sites. It's saved my bacon many a time.
SO without further ado, I present you with an eternal home for the CROCHET CACHE beer can hat pattern. Just right click the link below, and you too can be the King of Coors.... the Guru of Guiness...the Maharaja of Miller... the Poobah of Pabst.
I also found another great pattern over at Stitchy McYarnpants' place, Notorious Knits. You can find it HERE.
If you and Claire want a crocheted beer hat, all you have to do is ask. I think you two are well above these silly little passive aggressive games. Next you'll be posting toilet paper cozies and fun fur pom pom earrings.

Hey, sorry for the mixup. I did this piece in Rome, not Philly...though philly traffic is crazy too and it might be fun!

Thanks so much for posting the PDF. I can't wait to make 2 for an upcoming family Christmas gift exchange. I can't wait to see their faces.

Love it! I put a link to this page from my page- hope you don't mind. If you want me to remove it, just email me and let me know.
