Tio Sympathy!

Tios
Since moving to Huntington Beach, I've explored a lot of the surrounding towns, scoping out the best food and extremest craft.  Because of highway construction, Riverside is home to one of California's biggest traffic bottlenecks, so I was never tempted to stop and smell the roses there...until now.  Laura just sent me THIS FLICKR photo collection of photos that she took of Tio's Tacos in Riverside.  Aside from killer food, Tio's is a folk art environment created by owner Martin Sanchez.  Apart from the restaurant, which is covered in mosaics and plastic vegetables, there is also a chapel (pictured above) made largely out of bottles.  Trees covered in barbie dolls, grottoes, shrines and other ephemera dot the property.  You can find other photos at Unusuallife.com.  If you'd like to read more about their food, check out this review at Yelp.com.

LINK Thanks, Laura!
