China painting was never much of a masculine art...either from the side of painting the china or the finished product. I've seen enough scrollwork patterns and little violets painted on teacups and saucers to last me a lifetime. That's why this plate that I spotted at our local antique store in Eureka struck my fancy. What taxidermy-studded manroom would be complete without this earthy cigar plate?
I'm not really one to cheerlead for nicotine addiction, but kudo to the artist who created this.
