Today, October 2nd, 2010 marked the seventh anniversary of Crafty Bastards, Washington D.C.'s -ahem- venerable indie craft show. By any measure, Crafty Bastards is huge--close to 150 booths of crafty bastardry to delight, entertain and lighten your wallet. I was bummed that I couldn't attend this year, but I WAS incredibly honored to be asked to write about my favorite vendors for the official program, which is published by Washington's City Paper. I got to enthuse about my favorite erm..."bastards", including Brian Gubicza, Rebound Designs, Bright Lights Little City, Cherrybox Studios, Meow Meow Tweet Tweet, The Broken Pendant Plate Company, Focal Length Designs and Tinaseamonster.
