One of my favorite summer pastimes is the "summer song"...you know, the song that you hear coming out of every passing convertible that seems to emerge with the first lightning bugs and popsicles of the season? Past examples include impossible to avoid songs like MmmBop, and of course last summer's "Crazy" from Gnarls Barkley. So far, my favorite summer song this year has been Lip Gloss, by Lil' Mama. There's a new contender in town, and I can write about it on Extreme Craft because of its insanely great video that uses T-Shirt designs to keep the action going.
Directors Jonas&François, who are reportedly still STUDENTS shame today's T-Shirt designers by creating a video full of animated T-shirt designs that I would ACTUALLY WEAR. The song is "D.A.N.C.E.", an earworm of a song from the French group Justice. All of the people toiling away creating wannabe hipster shirts should be shamed by this video. Jonas&François just raised the bar. Somewhere in his bunker, Michel Gondry is quaking in his boots.
