Craftcon 2008 was amazing! Thanks to everybody who organized the conference, particularly the amazing . The panels and presentations ranged from the practical (health care) to the ever-present sand in everybody's bikini bottom that is the beef between "Fine Craft" and "Craft Craft" (for lack of a better description). Why are crafters so damned nice?
On Saturday Night, Urban Art Farm hosted a "Crafty Style Gala" that couldn't have been more fun. There was matchbox shrine building, a blacklight room full of foam cubes, and of course, a photo booth. Check out the photo (at right) of Callie from the Church of Craft! So, new friends, old friends and internet friends that I finally met in person...CRAFT HARD!
