When Claire and I were in Madison, our friend Zeke took the time to write our names in Chinese. Amazing. Zeke has mastered Chinese at the tender age of 5.5 years old. For those of you who don't know Chinese, that's my name above and Claire's below.
"Orientation" - New Work From China
- This body of work was created during a Summer 2010 residency at the Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen, China. These porcelain vessels explore traditional Chinese iconography as refracted through a decidedly Western point of view.
